Security Home Inspections

While the Thornberry family and Security Home Inspections have been long-time supporters of the REALTOR® Foundation, a new commitment for 2008 will enhance the company’s investment in solving homelessness in central Indiana.

The agreement makes Security Home Inspections the second Foundation corporate donor, and they have committed to a donation of at least $5,000 in 2008.

Patty Thornberry, Vice President of Security Home Inspections, commented, “Homelessness has a face. I’ve seen it. I have talked with men and women who became homeless and now understand that it’s not a place or time in life when you did something to deserve it, like you’ve done something wrong. It’s about life changes, and it’s about struggling to keep your family together no matter what. If in my lifetime I can help just one person not live the life of being homeless, I will feel like I have had true heartfelt success.”

Thornberry became more familiar with the residents helped by the Foundation while researching for her original song “Scared, Cold and Alone” which is featured on the Foundation DVD. Thank you to Security Home Inspections and the Thornberry family for their dedication and leadership toward the Foundation’s mission!
